Behind the Scenes: Infrastructure at Large-Scale Events
When tens of thousands of people pour into a festival field, they don't see the infrastructure that made it possible. The tent grid that went up three days before. The fencing system that defines the crowd flow. The power network snaking underground across the site.
This is the invisible work of event infrastructure - and it's some of the most skilled, technical labor in the industry.
Tent installations.
Large-scale tent structures require precision engineering. Poles, anchors, and tensioning systems must be installed to spec, often in weather that doesn't cooperate. Our infrastructure crews work from technical drawings and know how to adapt on site.
Fencing and perimeter systems.
Crowd management starts with good fencing. The layout of barriers, entry points, and internal divisions shapes how people move through a venue. Efficient, accurate fencing installs keep events safe and keep schedules on track.
Power and distribution.
Running power to stages, food vendors, production trucks, and lighting rigs across a sprawling field requires careful planning and execution. Our crews handle cable runs, distribution boxes, and temporary power systems built to code.
Flooring and decking.
Festival grounds are rarely flat or dry. Ground protection, ADA pathways, production platforms, and VIP flooring systems all have to go in before anything else. Flooring crews set the foundation the whole event stands on.
Infrastructure is the unglamorous heart of every great event. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and don't mind an early call time - this is your lane.
