Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of riseeventlabor.com (the "Site"), operated by RISE Event Labor ("RISE," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, submitting a crew application, or submitting a staffing inquiry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site to learn about our services, submit a crew application, or request staffing for an event. You agree to provide accurate, current information in any form you submit and not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Crew Applications
Submitting an application through /apply does not guarantee work placement. Crew members accepted into our pool work as independent contractors (1099), not employees, and are responsible for their own applicable taxes. Assignment details, pay rates, and scheduling are governed separately through LASSO and any offer you accept there.
Client & Staffing Inquiries
Submitting a request through /inquire is not a booking confirmation. Staffing arrangements, pricing, and terms for any event are finalized separately in writing between RISE and the client.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and images, are owned by or licensed to RISE and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our prior written permission.
Third-Party Links & Services
The Site links to third-party platforms such as LASSO and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RISE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
